Bašćanska ploča is the oldest Croatian Glagolitic monument. It is extremely important for Croatian culture and literacy. It dates from 1100 years. The church of Sv. Lucija (St. Lucy) in Jurandvor, where it was found, keeps a copy.
Baška is divided into an old and the new one.
The old Baška is hiding romance and the magic of indigenous buildings, culture and tradition, while New Baska provides all that an urban tourist is looking for – beautiful beach, a great selection of restaurants and cafes.

BEACHES OF KRK

The islet of Košljun belongs to the archipelago of the island. The former mansion is known for Franciscan monastery where the monks have for years and centuries collected values.
Today there is a museum with an ethnographic collection, a rich zoological collection and animal fossils and century-old library.
Near the town center of Malinska, in a village called Porat, is a Franciscan church and monastery of St. Mary Magdalene.
In the atrium of the monastery there are Glagolitic stone monuments and the monastery museum exhibits from the past.
The cave consists of several underground spaces adapted for tourist visits.
It features a wealth of cave decorations … stalactites , calcite and columns.
OLD TOWN KRK
The ancient city of Krk once and the old part of the city today, surrounded by walls that together with city gates , fortifications make the inner city layout. It has a rich historical heritage and residents are trying to preserve it.
Vrbniče above the sea, high mountain … native song that perfectly describes this village situated at the top of the mountain. This is where the narrowest street in the world is.
Vrbnik is far beyond the borders known for its wine Vrbnička žlahtina and the Valomet, champagne from the sea.
BOGOVSKI TOŠ IN MALINSKA
This is toš in Bogovici from 1850. The first owner was Peter Bogović bogovski hence the name “bogovski toš”. He was the most prolific in the area of Dubašnica. Today’s owner is Ivica Bogović.
Dubašnica during that year, from about ten Toševa produced 700 barrels of oil. Barrel amounted to 66 liters or 46 wagons of oil. It was argely exported to Copper and Trieste.
CHURCH SV. KRŠEVANA
The church of St. Krševana (5th or 6th century.) close to village Milohnić (12 km northwest of Krk). This mystical place is evidence of early Catholic on the island. Visit church and explore the cultural heritage which she is hiding.
